We’ll occasionally provide some “business entertainment” but our real passion lies in putting common ideas into a most uncommon light, teasing new ideas and meaning from old situations, and then inviting our audience to develop a plan for dealing with them differently in future.
You can call what we do “shifting paradigms” or “altering perspectives” or “transforming thinking”. We don’t really care. All we do care about is that our clients gain the changes in behaviour that they are seeking from their audience and with those changes in behaviour, gain the improvements in results that they are seeking.
Changes in Perception Lead to Persisting Changes in Behaviour
We are often called upon to kickstart a change – a transformation – in the way that people think about their business issues, challenges, processes or opportunities (what we call “Transformational Themes”).
Our speakers, while grounded in practical, results-based business thinking, are also skilled in a range of language skills (including neurolingustic programming, Ericsonian hypnosis and ontology) and in soft influencing techniques that superbly equip them to entertain, educate and move their audiences towards change.
That process may occupy a presentation ranging from a 1-hour keynote to a 2-day retreat, but the goal of every event is to equip our audiences with new paradigms, new perception, and new ways of perceiving then resolving old issues.
New ways of thinking may result in new solutions, but how many times have you left a presentation full of new ideas and new resolve only to have both eroded by the the next emergency back at work?
How often, after an event, have you found yourself still left with the big question, “I now know what I want to do, but I still don’t know how to do it!”?
New solutions often demand new knowledge and always demand new skills, and we are expert at designing and delivering training tailored to install the new knowledge and new skills that are essential to now knowing how to carry out your new resolutions.
But even knowing how does not guarantee the level of performance – the proficiency in what needs to be done, in order to produce the results required or desired.
New skills require practice, but not just any practice – for practice does not make perfect; practice only makes permanent. New skills require corrected practice to develop performance to a standard that produces the optimum results, and so we also offer a range of coaching services to develop knowledge and skills into performance that yields results.
Coaching provides the follow up, and establishes the feedback-loop between effort and reward that eventually becomes self-motivating for the individuals and groups with whom we work.
The Ripple Effect
Long ago we discovered the power of the ripple effect:
- Clarify goals
- Transform mindsets and motives
- Install new skills & knowledge
- Coach for performance
- Enjoy the results
All of our work incorporates our awarenes of the need to “finish the job”, and our presentations are no exception.
For more than 10 years we have assumed all of the risk of ensuring that our clients gain a return on the investment they make in our presentations, by offering the following guarantee:
If, at the conclusion of our presentation, our client is not entirely satisfied that we achieved the goal they set with us, we will refund our presentation fee in full – and provide another presentation of equal length at no charge.
