Peter Rowe, Managing Director

Peter is our Managing Director, our foremost Business Improvement Specialist^tm and founder of Profit Tuning, the art of applying small improvements to critical business inputs for large increases in bottom line profits.

Peter is an expert in change and growth management, and nowhere is this more graphically illustrated than in his own progression from brickies’ labourer and truck driver, to law student; court reporter; TAFE Head Teacher; automotive transmission specialist; high-performance vehicle developer; engineer, designer & manufacturer; business founder (6 of them); franchise developer; fitness equipment designer & manufacturer; health club owner (he is a former State Heavyweight Powerlifting Champion); computer systems designer & educator; professional public speaker, motivator & workshop facilitator; e-commerce systems designer, and author.

In his own words, “You can only draw one of two conclusions from my path to here: That I am 107 years old, or that I can’t hold down a job!” Neither is true, for he is a life-long student of business and of personal and professional improvement, whose single credo is, “There is no right or wrong in business; there in only what works, long term, and what doesn’t. By the way, things that aren’t ethical, honest or sustainable don’t work long term!“With 30 years of interest and study in the fields of mental, physical and career performance it has been said that Peter has the unique ability to make complex concepts simple, to make old knowledge newly meaningful, and to inspire and equip his clients with the means and the motive to make the changes that they need and desire to achieve their business and personal goals.

In delivering the business improvement systems he has developed, whether one-on-one with clients, or one-on-many, he facilitates both conscious and unconscious learning in a way that sees his audience doing what they committed to do and so enjoying the results they have been seeking.

Peter holds a Diploma of Technical Education, a Certificate of Commercial Education (CESA); is a member of the Australian Institute of Management Consultants; an Accredited Business Improvement Specialist^TM; a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Master Coach NLP and Master of Neurological Repatterning; and an SME Coach (Superior Level) of the Australian Institute of Executive Coaching. Having developed Australia’s first Diploma of Business Coaching under the national Australian Quality Training Framework, Peter will shortly be the first recipient of the Diploma of Business Coaching.

He works with a Clientele ranging from the executives of some of Australia’s largest corporations to the boards and management of medium sized enterprises, to small business owners (whom he says “keep him grounded”). He is a sought-after keynote and seminar presenter for business conferences and a skilled workshop facilitator (he was a TAFE teacher at 21 and says he’s never really stopped).

He continues to develop and present a broad range of results-oriented skills training for business, government and corporate teams throughout Australia and overseas.

Peter lives on Queensland’s Gold Coast with his wife and business partner, Judi Reid; enjoys surfing, sailing, motorcycle touring, and reading across a wide range of subjects and disciplines; and maintains a strong interest in personal fitness and competitive swimming.
