SARs or Special Action Reports
ProfiTune has a collection of SARs covering each of the 14 Most Common Business Challenges to have emerged from one of the company’s business surveys.
Having more than one SAR per challenge enables a BIS to respond to a request for one with, “Debra, I have three SARs on ‘Too much time working IN the business’. Is it OK if I ask you a few questions to narrow down the one best suited to you right now?”
The moment the respondent says ‘yes’, a sales exploration process starts which, if well conducted may result in a sale – and a happy business client.
SARs and eNews
Every eNews should have one of a number of possible ‘calls to action’:
- A short, engaging article containing a link offering more of the same which goes through to a landing page:
- to prompt a first level engagement (click through)
- to increase site traffic
- to keep a promise (the promised fuller article is there, either as a blog or downloadable file)
- to expose other opportunities and invite further engagement
- Participation in a ‘relevant issues’ survey with the promise to share the aggregated data only with participants. Engagement may lead to an offer similar to the SAR process outlined above, offering free information on a participant’s hottest topic.
- A request to share the newsletter with others, and a script on how to do that professionally and respectfully.
- An invitation to ask for more information, complete with email link containing the offered topic.
